A war has been going on since 2016, in the two regions of Cameroon formerly known as Southern Cameroons. An historical problem remains unsolved since 1961, when 2 countries - La Republique du Cameroun and the Southern Cameroons- agreed to enter a federal mode of government. Today the federal state status has disappeared, and the country went back to the original name of one of the parties: la Republique du Cameroun, whipping out of the map the Southern Cameroons. The anger is still present among the youth.
