We begin by entering the void, the land of the supernatural where warriors come to surrender themselves to a force, they do not understand burdened by life. The void is a dark emptiness, there is a path (one in which Amu will walk) ; surrounding the path are statues standing on pedestals, these statues are symbolic of all the loved ones that he has left behind. Amu walks the path to his demise in a slow and broken manner, this is revealing the burden of life he bears being immortal. He is tired, lonely, and depressed, yearning to die and find peace in death. He has come to the void to end his life, to surrender himself to a force higher than himself.
